After yesterday’s 840 mile segment between St Louis and Denver, today’s hop over the Rockies to Salt Lake City should feel pretty relaxing. Last night’s thunderstorms, which made for pretty miserable driving into Denver against a setting sun that was clear of the storm—and multiple rear-enders on I-70—also kept me from walking over to Union Station. And this morning, I almost, almost decided to hit the road without doing any imaging there. But I couldn’t. I love Union Station here. It is both classic and modern all in the same span.
So, some imaging, a quick topoff of juice, and on to some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere.
