Rain was forecast this morning in Annapolis. And it was delivered. But not before dawn broke over the water, light scattering through faint mist over sailboat hulls. Old Annapolis was quiet, the ducks still sleeping on the brick sidewalks, bills tucked into feathers, unperturbed when i walked right by them. Calm water, sheltered, makes for safe harbor.
This piece is title portum tutum, Latin for "safe harbor." It is available in our Fine Art Gallery and in our Gift Shop.
