Today, we're implementing the transition for fine art prints of our artwork over to the Photodeck/Whitewall segment of our site. We've been working on this for quite a while, and we're very excited to get this move under way. Here's a mini-FAQ on the why:

Why are we doing this? From our point of view, Whitewall is easily the best photo abd artwork printing lab in the world. And we've tried a bunch. Here in the States, Bay Photo Lab in San Francisco is also excellent, and several of our Bay Photo Lab prints have been hung in gallery locations. But Bay Photo doesn't integrate or provide Print-On-Demand capabilities with either of our platforms (PhotoDeck and Shopify).

So, when Whitewall finally announced this year they would be integrating POD services with PhotoDeck, it was a natural for us to migrate the fine art section of our website to PhotoDeck, and to implement their Whitewall integration.

What about Fine Art America or Printique? We'll still use FAA, Printique, and Printful for production of Gift Shop items, for everything from coffee mugs to luggage tags to blankets and beach towels, tapestries and posters. Whitewall doesn't produce these sort of gift items, and we can provide them much less expensively through these other POD platforms. Wer will no longer be providing acrylic block artwork through Gooten.

For fine wall art and acrylic block, Whitewall will be our exclusive provider.

Is the Gift Shop still online? You bet it is! SOme of the Collections links may briefly break as we get everything re-aligned.
